Interim Chief Executive Officer
Tracy Thurston is AzCA’s Interim CEO. Tracy joined the AzCA team in 2021 where she led the behavioral health services program for two years for children and families across Arizona before being named Chief Program Officer and SVP overseeing both Behavioral Health and Child Welfare. In that role, Tracy was responsible for fiscal management, strategic planning, programmatic outcomes, policies and procedures, personnel planning and development, community and stakeholder relations. After serving in that role for one year, upon the resignation of the former CEO, Tracy was promoted to the Interim CEO role, where she provides, guidance and leadership to all agency functions.
Prior to joining AzCA, Tracy spent more than 19 years in behavioral health, with extensive experience across a wide range of services, including direct care, program growth, clinical oversight, leadership, and staff development, with 16 of those years in the non-profit sector.
SUSAN ENCINAS
Chief Information Officer
Susan Encinas began working with AzCA in 2009 with the Information Technology department and moved into the role of CIO responsible for managing IT/IS functions for the agency in 2016. Susan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems from University of Arizona and a Master’s Degree in Organizational Management from University of Phoenix.
